2 FRIENDS CONNECT WITH ART--AND AFRICA

In the beginning of the month (July 2013), my artist friend, Shurvon Haynes and I were interviewed by Jerry Large of the Seattle Times.  During that interview I realized the role law played in my art.  It really is amazing how every experience we have shapes us into who we are at any given moment.

Watch me experience the first look of myself published in the paper as an artist.  This was in the beginning stages of me identifying as an artist and I am so thankful that those first impressions were captured by Jerry Large in his article.
