LAUNCH DAY 13: THERE'S AN 'APP' FOR THAT

Day 13: on the launchpad: best 'app' ever...

Me touring a luxury condo, Downtown Seattle
(You gotta think big, right?!)
I made a plan.  I was happy with the plan.  The plan seemed to be working and then BAM: enter fan and brown substance hitting it...!

My plan of launching into a pedestrian lifestyle in Downtown Seattle had been sped up due to many reasons.  The number one reason being simply that it was time.  All of my meditation pointed to June.  I didn't want to make the move until October.

October seemed far away enough that I could take my time and make very calculated steps slowly, otherwise known as stall tactics!  Didn't we learn that procrastination is the number one killer of success many blog posts ago?!

The ART of the LAUNCH was teaching me that rockets don't blastoff into space only using some of their fuel.  They go FULL THROTTLE!  They GO HARD!  It takes everything to push through our atmosphere.  It takes everything to launch a dream too.  That 'everything' comes in different forms depending what you're launching and what it means to you.

Sometimes, it's the removal of the doubt that pollutes the lift off of our dreams.  It can also be uncertainty of success or execution.  When this is the case, you must carry your very own applause meter.

A personal applause meter is the knowing and recognition that you got this!  You got this because you have done it before in many forms.  Perhaps, it's the fact that you were the first to graduate from high school or college against all odds.  Maybe, it's the fact that you have the natural gifts and abilities to do the very thing you desire.  It might even be that you experience miracles from moment to moment.  Whatever that really great thing you accomplished was, recognizing it in the moment before stepping up to the launchpad again is critical to another successful blastoff.

My dream of downtown living was no different.  I can do it, even if June feels like just 2.3 seconds away.  Besides, there is nothing like summer in Seattle.  The mountains, the trees, Pike Place Market with all of their fresh fruits and veggies, Alki Beach and all of the outdoor concerts and plays make for a fond summer memory.  Why wouldn't I want to be in the middle of the action in time for summer?!

How loud is your personal applause meter?!  What are all the claps about?!  Remember, whatever you have done, there's an 'app' for that...as in app-lause!  I would love to hear about them all so tell me in the comments!  I can be your applause meter too!  I'm super LOUD!
